Does PhotoReady upload my GIF?
No. GIF bytes, decoded frames and generated MOV files are not posted to a PhotoReady application API. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active conversion session.
Does GIF to Live Photo work on iPhone?

Can I convert a GIF to Live Photo without an app?
PhotoReady performs the GIF decoding and MOV conversion in your browser, but the final save to the iPhone Photos library currently requires an iOS Live Photo maker app.
Can I use the result as a GIF live wallpaper?
First use an iOS Live Photo maker app to save the downloaded MOV as a Live Photo, then confirm the LIVE badge and press-and-hold playback in Photos. Wallpaper options still vary by iPhone and iOS version.
Can I create an Android Motion Photo?
PhotoReady can build and locally validate a standard Motion Photo 1.0 JPEG container. Recognition still varies by phone maker and gallery app, so Android device testing remains a separate acceptance gate.
Can a converted GIF include sound?
No. GIF files do not contain an audio track, so a motion file created from a GIF is silent. Use a video-based workflow when sound is important.
Which browser should I use?
Current Chrome or Edge on desktop provides the required local H.264 WebCodecs support. Other browsers may decode the GIF but be unable to create the motion video.
What is the difference between Live Photo and Motion Photo?
Apple Live Photo uses a paired still image and video recognized by Apple Photos. Android Motion Photo commonly stores a JPEG still and an appended video in one container. They are related experiences, not interchangeable file formats.
